Why should I prepare for birth?
If you're expecting, instead of getting close to your due month and either panicking or thinking "ignorance is bliss". Lets eliminate that fear of the unknown and the "I wish id done more to avoid this", and ask your self these 3 questions...
Do I know exactly what is happening to my body during each stage of labour and beyond?
Do I know what hormones are hindering me and which are helping me and what i can do to harness these hormones to help me get through labour in the best way possible?
Am I prepared for which ever path birth may take, and do I and my birth partner have the tools to ask the right questions and the knowledge to make informed decisions?
If you have answered no to any of these questions booking onto a 4 week, fully loaded Hypnobirthing course will inform you and give you the empowerment to go ahead and completely own your birth. There is so much we can do to tip the scales in our favour to achieve a more relaxed, manageable birth. Even a planned caesarean or an episiotomy, if you know your stuff, will feel like you're on cloud 9 afterwards, because you were in control and had piece of mind that you knew how to handle any hurdle.
In these classes we can explore everything from releasing fear around birth to open conversations about everything from poo the best birth playlist tunes. We will make learning about birth fun and you and your birth partner will leave your last class feeling life you can conquer anything together.
Birth is powerful, but so are you! I want to help you unlock everything that is already within you to help you have the best possible birth.
The way you feel about your birth will stay with you forever. You can do so much for your self to not only have Happy Birth but to carry that rush of Oxytocin with you through into your fourth trimester, making you feel the best you can.
The day you give birth to your baby is such a life altering day for you and your family you should want it to have the most positive impact possible. This is where your hypnobirthing classes will come into play. I believe that birth is a transformative experience that deserves to be surrounded by warmth, love, and respect. Hypnobirthing is slowly being recognised for its amazing resources but has been around since the 1930s and has been adapted though years of research and is totally based on fact and results. There is science behind it all. You will learn all about how your mind stores information how we can use this to our advantage in birth. Your subconscious mind is such a powerful tool and can be trained to get you through labour and without you realising.
Regular practise of breathing techniques, exercise and relaxation methods specifically tailored to help you get through any fear you have around birth, will all snowball into retraining your brain into feeling calm and capable .
Whether you just want to feel calm during your C-Section, reduce your anxiety around hospitals or have the homebirth you've always wanted hypnobirthing will get you there!

About me
Hi there!
My names Becks I have a little daughter, Remi with my wonderful Fiancé.
We both LOVE food and cooking and have spent a lot of our lives travelling and eating our way around the world. I have worked in the restaurant bizz all my life and have catered for many events including yoga retreats. So am used to teaching in1:1 and group environments. All of my workshops and group classes will be equipped with yummy snacks, I promise!
As well as my passion for food, my love and focus for teaching hypnobirthing stemmed from me personally wanting to be as prepared as possible for the birth of my baby and boy was it worth it!
I think about how wonderful my birth was and I am only aware now of the things I didn't know and should have been told.
Every parent-to-be wants their birth to be a magical experience. But, the truth is, it can be daunting to know how to make it a mindful moment for mum and baby. Topped with the fact we aren’t always given all the resources or knowledge about different pain management methods during labour, it can feel like stepping into the unknown; unequipped to sense what feels “normal” to you and tools for coping with different stages of birth.
Happy Birthing People was born out of the need to help more families learn about their options for a great birthing experience through hypnobirthing. As someone who practised this method, I am passionate about empowering and supporting other pregnant women in their prenatal and birthing journeys to discover the benefits of hypnobirthing.
Through 1:1 antenatal classes, I will give you and your team practical techniques, tips and tricks to bridge the body and mind to head into labour feeling confident, calm and in control.
One of my main objectives for teaching is to make Hypnobirthing accessible for everyone, my dream would be that these techniques are shared with every birthing person. I want to be part of making that happen.
